Counselor's Corner

Dear Parents,

I am delighted to be your elementary counselor at Sycamore Canyon. This is my sixth year as an elementary counselor with the Conejo Valley Unified School District and my fifth year working with the students, staff, and families of Sycamore Canyon. I have enjoyed watching not only the campus but the spirit and community of this school grow!

The Elementary Counseling Program is designed to complement the role of the administration, teachers, and parents in cultivating responsible, resilient, and successful lifelong learners. As your counselor, I will strive to teach students essential life skills such as cooperation, conflict resolution, good decision making, study skills and respect for others, while concurrently building self-esteem through confidential individual and group counseling.

If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to contact me at (805) 497-9511 ext. 536 or via e-mail at . I am looking forward to a wonderful school year!

Sincerely,

Jennifer Sheppard
