What does a ticket include?

All Tickets include:

  • Admission to the Canyon Club

  • Sit-down dinner with an entrée choice of either Prime Rib, Chicken, Thai BBQ, Salmon, Veggie or Beef Lasagna, Salad, Dessert

  • Private Concert, starring Eddie Money

  • Silent and live auction

 

Do I need to put my entrée choice on the response card before I send it in?

No, you may order the night of the event

 

How can I guarantee that I sit with my friends?

You can only guarantee that you sit with your friends by purchasing “reserved tables” for either 8 or 10 people.  You must purchase FULL tables to guarantee reserved seating.  If you purchase individual tickets, there will be tables that are designated as “Open Seating”

 

What is a VIP Table?

A VIP table gives you all of the benefits of a reserved table, however you will also get – The BEST seats in the house.  These will either be front row directly in front of the stage OR the VIP section at the Canyon Club (raised area).  You will be able to choose your actual table.  VIP tables are available in a variety of configurations; please contact Jean Wentz for details 496-6160 or email [email protected].

In addition to the BEST seats in the house you will also receive fantastic publicity for your business during the event.  You will have the opportunity to be a part of the DVD slide show that will run throughout the event on the Canyon Club’s large video screens.  If you are a family that is purchasing a VIP table you may make a dedication with your DVD spot.

 

I can’t attend the auction but I’d still like to support it, can I just make a donation?

Yes.  Donations are accepted through the web-site or you may send in a check and mark your envelope “auction donation”.  Many parents also support the auction through contributing to their class project and basket as well.  Thank you.

 

What portion of the proceeds from the auction goes to the school?

100% of the proceeds from the auction will go to Sycamore Canyon School.  The tickets cover the costs associated with putting the event on and a portion of the ticket sales goes to the school ($25 per ticket).  ALL Auction bids go back to the school.  The items in the auction have been graciously donated by members of our community, individual families and businesses.

 

What does the Auction pay for?

This year the auction will help fund many programs at our school which include but are not limited to:  The Art Program, Campus Safety, Classroom Supplies, Music, Education Assemblies, etc…

 

Do people need to be families at the school to purchase ticket?

No, we are encouraging families to bring their friends along with them to experience this fantastic event.  We are inviting the entire Dos Vientos Community to come and enjoy the Rockin’ Auction.

 

What is the dress code?

Evening/Business casual.  The Canyon Club is a great dinner/concert/dancing spot.

 

When/how will I get my tickets?

Tickets will be distributed approximately 10 days prior to the event via your child’s classroom.  You will also get an auction program at that time.  If you purchase tickets and are not a Sycamore Family we will mail your tickets to you.  Be sure and include your mailing address on your response card.

 

Can I use my credit card to purchase tickets and auction items?

Yes and Yes.  Visa and MasterCard can all be used to purchase both your tickets and auction items.  This year we will be adding an easy check-out option as well.  Details to come.

 

How many tickets are available?  When do I have to purchase my tickets by?

There are 500 tickets available for sale.  They will be available on a first come, first served basis.  We will stop selling tickets when we are sold out even if it’s prior to the RSVP date.  There will be no standing room option.

 

What time does the auction start?  What time will the concert start? 

The auction begins at 5:00pm.  Times are approximate but the concert will begin following the live auction at approx. 9pm.

 

Are drinks included in the ticket price?

No, however a Cash-Bar will be available
